According to what I’ve read, the story of the bible (genesis, th story of adam, basically everything in it) existed FAR before the bible was actually written. It was basically just oral traditions, passed on through generations to different places… stories that people told each other. The bible is pretty much just a written account of all those stories… someone decided “hey, now that we have writing, lets put those stories down on paper so we don’t forget them”… unless god also inspired all the people that passed down the story (of which there were many variations), the bible probably isn’t even the original story, but edited from all the stories passed down.

I think… not sure. Opinions? Any historians?
Uh ok God used holy men to write down his word… but his holy word has been around for centuries before it was written. They just translated it, it's not actually their original text…
